Director of Development Committee..

The Foundation has hired Jennifer Sedlack as our Director of Development who is initiating grant writing and fundraising efforts for specific educational initiatives developed and/or proposed by Coralwood teachers, administrators and other professionals.. Jennifer continues to implement initiatives in support of these goals, such as grantwriting workshops, to instruct teachers and staff to search for grants, to review literature, to generate hypotheses, and to write proposals. She also guides teachers’ and parents’ grantwriting efforts in productive directions, as well as help all staff with their career development initiatives.

Long-term funding for the Educational Advisor position will come from interest income from the endowment fund and from grant-writing projects. Short-term funding will be supplied through Parent Council fundraising and grant writing initiatives. Hours will be increased as funding permits.
